Arkansas Youth Duck Hunt in Cache NWR

Youth Waterfowl Hunting Area, Cache River RefugeThe future of Arkansas duck hunting lies within our youth. Now our youth have their own special area to duck hunt thanks to the Cache River NWR. The NWR is pleased to announce Special Youth Waterfowl Hunt Area and Program.

Cache River National Wildlife Refuge is pleased to announce the implementation of a Youth Only Waterfowl Hunt Area and Program.  The refuge recently acquired 1,180 acres along Bayou DeView in Woodruff County and will designate this area as a Special Youth Only Waterfowl Hunt Area.  Youth (ages 15 and younger) can apply for permits to occupy one of five designated blinds and are allowed to hunt waterfowl on drawn weekend date(s) of the regular duck season.  A successfully drawn hunter will also be allowed….
