New Cabela’s book, 5 things that caught my eye

5 things I “need” out of the new Cabela’s Fall Edition 2012
Every fall I look forward to getting this in the mail! It’s like an early Christmas present. This huge catalog is full of everything any hunter could ever need or want for the upcoming hunting season. I have been a customer of Cabela’s for a long time and have always been pleased with their products and customer service. I flipped through this book and came up with 5 things I’d like to have for deer season this year.
  • Nikon ProStaff 5 Fieldscope, Angled 20-60, page 611.  I have never really used a spotting scope for scouting but think it would come in handy glassing across the farm.
  • Little Buddy Heater, page 900. This compact heating system would come in handy in the ground blind in late December.
  • Moultrie C-50 Outfitter No-Glow, page 753.  This camera has the “black flash” that isn’t supposed to spook game when they trigger the camera.
  • Badlands Treestand Day Pack, page 804. I have heard nothing but great things about Badlands products and wouldn’t mind putting one of these through a season to test it out.
  • Husky Custom-Molded Floor liners, page 946. It can get pretty muddy where I hunt during the winter, and I like to keep my truck somewhat clean!

There were probably 100 other things I could have put on this list! I sure hope Santa is ready this year because I’m sure to send him a long letter! If something caught your eye from this catelog, leave a comment and let me know.
