Best of the Best: Member-submitted Venison Recipes

Saying Arkansas hunters know how to cook is like saying the sun is going to rise in the morning. It’s just a well-known fact.

Part of the reason we spend months out of the year pursuing wild game is the excitement of knowing we’ll eventually get to put it on a plate.

Below are a few our favorite venison recipes from site members:
Arkansas Deer Jerky

Venison Burgers

Venison Burger Recipes1 1/2 lbs Ground Venison
1 Egg
1/2 cup Bread Crumbs
2 tbsp Tomato Paste
1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tbsp Dried Parsley
2 tbsp Mexican Spice

Venison Tacos

Venison Taco Recipes3 tbsp Olive Oil
6 cloves Garlic, minced
1 lb Ground Venison
1 tbsp Flour
2 tsp Mexican Spice (see rub thread)
1/2 cup Beef Broth
White Corn Tortillas
